Here we'll search for Monteverde's most famous resident, the resplendent quetzal, visit the hummingbird gallery to view and photograph scores of dazzling hummers, look for wildlife and hike in the area, enjoying the natural beauty of the cloud forest. The river is fringed by the largest mangrove forest of Central America, a beautiful landscape with views of osprey, spoonbills, and iguanas along the way and framed by the spectacular pristine rainforest of Corcovado on the south side as we enter Drake Bay.
